ARCHITECTURE

SERIES

This series is my tribute to New York City, the place that shaped my imagination long before I ever lived here.

Growing up in Florida, I would spend hours sketching its skyline, tracing towers I had only seen in books or on screens. The city became more than a dream. It was a symbol of ambition, rhythm, and possibility.

Now, after three years of calling it home, these works are both a reflection and a thank you. Each piece reinterprets the landmarks that once existed only in my childhood drawings: the Chrysler, the Empire State, the Flatiron, the bridges, the towers, and the Statue of Liberty.

Every composition is created digitally in Photoshop using only a mouse, shaped through patience, repetition, and instinct. The process feels architectural in itself, built line by line until balance emerges. It is a quiet dialogue between control and intuition, structure and feeling, the same balance that defines the city it portrays.

Through this lens, I reimagine New York not as a collection of buildings but as a living rhythm of light, color, and emotion. Each piece captures the energy of a city that never stops becoming something new, a place where order meets chaos and imperfection turns into beauty.

For me, these works are a personal reflection of what New York represents: the pursuit of creation, the persistence to keep building, and the reminder that even in a city made of steel, the most human thing is still the act of imagining.

  • A monument of resilience.

The Empire State Building was born in a time when the world stood still. Built during the Great Depression, it became a symbol of endurance and belief in progress. The black and white palette reflects the stark reality of that era, while the geometric background celebrates the optimism of Art Deco. Together they create a balance between hardship and beauty, discipline and imagination. Empire State Blding is a quiet salute to human strength and the drive to create, even in uncertain times.

  • An ode to structure, rhythm, and perspective.

The Manhattan Bridge has always drawn me in for its symmetry and the way it frames the city beyond it. The central arch feels like a keyhole, a quiet threshold that connects two sides of New York. I wanted the colors and composition to highlight that balance, where repetition becomes beauty and steel turns graceful. Manhattan Brdg captures the bridge as both structure and symbol, a link between movement and stillness.

  • A quiet tribute to New York’s Art Deco crown.

The Chrysler Building has always stood out to me, not just for its height but for its soul. It captures an era when design carried both pride and purpose. I wanted the background to echo the rhythm of Art Deco, where geometry became a language of optimism. The gold tones and textured surface reflect how evening light settles over the city, imperfect yet full of grace. Chrysler Blding is a reminder of human craftsmanship and the enduring beauty of a hand-built skyline.

  • A symbol of hope framed in color and light.

The Statue of Liberty has always represented more than freedom. It speaks of arrival, belonging, and the courage to start again. I used intersecting shapes and color to capture that feeling, with forms that subtly echo the shape of an apple, a quiet tribute to New York. The overlapping hues suggest diversity and unity, how many stories can share the same light. Statue of Liberty is both a reminder and a celebration of what the city stands for.

  • A study of balance, color, and the courage to stand apart.

The Flatiron Building has always fascinated me for its shape, standing firm where the city’s grid begins to shift. It was one of the first skyscrapers to challenge both engineering and perception. I wanted to capture that boldness through color and form, using sharp contrasts to mirror the building’s edge and movement. The vibrant yellow and deep blue suggest light and shadow colliding, a reminder of how innovation often begins with risk. Flatiron Blding celebrates design that dares to be different.

  • A reflection on memory and the strength to rebuild.

Freedom Twr was created as a study of resilience. The central red form represents valor and the rise of something new from what was lost. Behind it, faint traces of the original towers linger, almost hidden, like a collective memory held within the city’s skyline. The grid and composition bring order to emotion, a reminder that architecture can carry both structure and soul. This piece honors endurance and the beauty that follows rebuilding.
